Meet Dr. Cox!

Let me tell you a little something about myself. I grew up near Chicago and moved to Arizona in 1974. I have lived in the West Valley since 1982. I have three children, six grandchildren, and one very spoiled Jack Russell terrier/Chihuahua mix rescued dog, named Russell. I have been teaching in special education for over 16 years. My B.A. in Liberal Studies and M.A. in Education, Counseling are both from Northern Arizona University. My Ph.D. in Education is from Capella University.

Besides teaching your children, I also teach online undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate courses for Liberty University, Indiana Wesleyan University and Rio Salado College in the areas of special education, education, research, dissertations, history, art and cinema. Obviously, I love teaching!

In addition to teaching, my passions are family, traveling, photography, oil painting and collecting antique toys. I love the coast and find that I need an 'ocean fix' several times a year, whether that be a trip to the beach or a cruise. I have included a few photos, so that you can 'meet' my wonderful family.

I look forward to this school year. It is going to be great!
